Daly Bio
- Mark Daly
- Cascade, MT, United States
- My passion is Fly Fishing, I have been fly fishing for the past 50 years. I started very young, and have been fortunate to have fished most of the great rivers all over the western US, for Trout and Steelhead. After graduating from the U OF M Missoula, I lived and fished for five years in Alaska, teaching high school Science in the “bush”, and guiding during the summers. Plus, I was fortunate to spend months traveling and fishing throughout New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji, on two different occasions, 1979, and 1984. I have enjoyed my many trips to Florida , to the “Keys’, and the Gulf side, “chasing silver”.
- For two seasons I helped start a fishing program in the Lake district of Chile ,and, Outfitted just across the boarder in Argentina for over 16 seasons. I started guiding in Montana in 1986, fishing most of the Blue Ribbon waters throughout the State, and ended up in 1989 living and guiding full time on the Missouri River from Wolf Creek to Cascade. I currently live on the Missouri River, right next to MT Palace, and work as a Realtor/Fly Fishing Outfitter.
